Work Wallet, an East Midlands based start-up company, is transforming the world of health & safety since it launched less than two years ago. Work Wallet is a real-time health & safety platform that delivers essential information to employees, sub-contractors and clients where and when they need it to help keep them safe and compliant.

The app is split into nine main features designed to reduce the amount of paperwork needed, allow effective communication and enable early detection and resolution of issues. East Midlands Chamber will be using all of the app’s features across many of its projects, including risk assessments, near-miss and accident reporting, audits and site & contractor management.

Scott Knowles, Chief Executive at East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire), said:

“Health and safety is an important part of any project and making sure colleagues, on-site suppliers and customers are safe at all times should be a priority for any business.

“It’s great to see an East Midlands-based business having such a positive impact on health and safety compliance. Using Work Wallet improves communication, helps to identify and prevent potential issues and, where prevention fails, ensures incidents are properly and quickly recorded.”

Jonathan Gray, CEO of Work Wallet, said:

“We are delighted that East Midlands Chamber have adopted Work Wallet to improve their health and safety systems. It will enable them to connect and collaborate with their entire supply chain and ensure an efficient, safe working environment for them.”

The technology has already been adopted by a number of East Midlands Chamber members including Bowmer and Kirkland.
