Closing the loop on system integrations to boost safety benefits
23 November 2022
Automation is essential in modern business. Many workplaces use multiple systems for different tasks, but it’s rare that those systems work together well.
Now though, Work Wallet has closed the loop on workplace safety by partnering with Zapier to deliver end-to-end automation.
Work Wallet’s innovative health and safety software can now connect to over 5,000 other workplace app and systems via workplace automation platform Zapier, including the full suite of Microsoft and Google operating systems.
Zapier is a free automation platform that connects work apps together, completing repetitive tasks automatically for the user, saving time, effort and cost. It is a simple and secure way to transfer data and automate workflows across multiple apps and systems, based on rules defined and controlled by the user.
Jonathan Gray, Work Wallet CEO, commented:
“Work Wallet is a complete health and safety software package, with everything you need all in one place, including advanced data analytics. However, the easier it is to feed their safety data back into their business, the bigger benefits they will get.
“We’ve always offered API connections where possible, but not all systems are easily compatible. Using Zapier lets businesses link our award-winning SaaS products with many more systems with only a few button clicks.”
Using multiple systems in the workplace often leads to inefficiencies and even data loss. Information stored in one system by one department may not be accessible to others. Therefore you may easily miss opportunities to maximise workplace benefits. When health and safety is at stake, this can have serious consequences.
With Zapier, connections called “zaps” are triggered when a user takes certain action in the Work Wallet app. This includes actions such as creating a risk assessment or scheduling an asset inspection. Then, for instance, it can automatically file your risk assessment PDFs in your Google Drive, or add diary reminders to your Outlook calendar.
Setting up a Zapier account is completely free. You can create your own zaps, or use a number of pre-made, off-the-shelf options.
Work Wallet’s Asset Management, Audit, and Risk Assessment functions are currently Zapier-enabled – with connections for other safety modules to be added soon.
